We’re Good To Go!

We may not have been open to guests over the past three months, but during the “downtime” we have busier than ever!  Everyone within the hospitality industry has welcomed the latest Government easing of Covid-19 restrictions as of the 4th July in England. However we have had to change the way in which we work.  Training taken place, zoom meetings have become a weekly occurrence and risk assessments made of all areas throughout the business.

Due to all this hard work we are very pleased to have received the Visit England industry standard mark, showing that our business has followed the government and industry Covid-19 guidelines.  Having a risk assessment in place and can maintain cleanliness for our guests and staff.  A couple of simple changes include the addition of hand sanitising units around the farm and timetabled sessions for single family pool use are possible, with cleaning between.  Further information, which is updated regularly, is sent to guests prior to arrival and can also be found here.

We have not made the changes on our own and would like to thank Visit Devon and The Professional Association of Self Caterers (PASC) who have helped point us, and many businesses like ours, to all the correct guidance in order to be ready to open and welcome guests back.
