Nethway Farm is perfect for the whole family, with so much to see and do

Our farm has excellent facilities perfect for your dream family holiday in Devon; whether the kids want to take a dip in the heated indoor pool or burn off some steam in the sunshine on our large wooden outdoor play area, or you want to take the whole family on a relaxing stroll, we’ve got something for everyone.

Play Barn

There is always something to do on the farm come rain or shine. The play barn has a large area for kicking a football about in, playing badminton or throwing balls at the basketball hoop. Balls, rackets and shuttle cocks all supplied. The room behind the kick around area that has a pool table, ping pong table and table football.

The Farm

Guests of all ages are encouraged to help us feed the animals during their stay. From feeding the goats and ponies to giving a chicken a cuddle and collecting eggs. Not to forget giving Magnum a good scratch and a few treats! All the animals are very friendly and we enjoy watching the confidence of the children grow as they interact with the animals during their stay. Spring is an extra special time of year as guests are encouraged to help us name and feed any orphan lambs we may have!

Play Room for 5 year olds & under

Brand new and open ready for October half term!!! We are excited to announce our new soft play area is ready to welcome guests. Just like the pool this area is currently available for single family use on a rota system. To enable social distancing during the current pandemic. There is also a decked area just outside the play room, where you can enjoy the sun and watch the children playing in the play room, on the trim trail, swing and running around.

The Swimming Pool

A warm oasis that is great for children and adults to relax or have fun in. The pool is open from February up to and including December. Due to extra Covid 19 procedures the pool is open for timed sessions between 0800 and 2130 to enable sole use for each cottage, as well as cleaning time for high contact areas between each session. The pool is closed on Saturday mornings for cleaning. It is kept at a temperature of between 30 – 32 Degrees Celsius and is a constant depth of 1.25m. Large steps allow access to the pool, which are also good to sit on. Within the pool area is a coin operated Sauna for those who like a bit of extra heat! Go for a swim whilst the sauna warms up and then relax is peace and quiet! There are two changing rooms and a toilet as well as dry seating for guests who would rather watch. Patio doors also open out onto a terraced area which is a lovely sun trap overlooking the farmland. (The Sauna and changing rooms are currently closed due to Covid-19 restrictions)

The owners always greeted us with a smile and the dogs loved the stay also." Vinny Derrick
"Beautiful place which we will return to many, many times. Having 2 dogs and 2 children under 6 in tow can mean we’re packing the house AND the kitchen sink when we go away; but not for hols at Nethway! Lizzie & Nathan have thought of everything – our family holidays here are a joy." Katie De Foubert-Wright
"We stayed in lovage cottage for 7 nights in June 2019. Our highlight was the indoor pool, my daughter spent hours in there, the water was really warm. We also enjoyed visiting the local beaches and Pennywell Farm. A very good holiday, thank you very much." Harriet Pepper
