The Farm

Guests of all ages are encouraged to help us feed the animals during their stay. From feeding the goats and ponies to giving a chicken a cuddle and collecting eggs. Not to forget giving the pigs a good scratch and a few treats! All the animals are very friendly and we enjoy watching the confidence of the children grow as they interact with the animals during their stay. Spring is an extra special time of year as guests are encouraged to help us name and feed any orphan lambs we may have!

Indoor swimming pool

A warm oasis that is great for children and adults to relax or have fun in. The pool is open for bookable 1hr 15min sessions between 0700 and 2100 to enable sole family use for each cottage. Booking is made once you have arrived at the farm. The pool is closed on Friday mornings for cleaning. It is kept at a temperature of between 32 – 34 Degrees Celsius and is a constant depth of 1.25m. Large steps allow access to the pool, which are also good to sit on. There is a large family changing room with fold down baby change, plus small individual changing room and a toilet. There is seating poolside for those who would rather watch. Patio doors also open out onto a terraced area which is a lovely sun trap overlooking the farmland.

Play Barn

Play Barn

There is always something to do on the farm come rain or shine. The play barn has a large area for kicking a football about in, playing badminton or throwing balls at the basketball hoop. The room behind the kick around area has a pool table, ping pong table and table football for everyone to enjoy.

Under 5's play room

A fabulous play room perfect for our younger guests! Tunnels, slides and climbing steps all to be explored along with sensory toys on the walls. (Older Siblings are welcome to join their younger brother or sister, but height restraints mean the climbing area is for the 5 year olds and under.) There is a decked area just outside the play room, where you can enjoy the sun and watch the children playing in the play room, in the outdoor play area.

Outdoor Play

Outdoor play area

From the decking outside the soft play parents can sit and watch their children enjoy the outdoor play area. From Trim Trail to slides, nest swing and sandpit there is plenty to keep the children entertained!

The Mud Kitchen

Time for the children to really get in touch with nature and explore. In the shelter of the valley hours can be lost making mud pies, paddling in the stream and playing “Poo Sticks“. There are benches for the adults to relax on with a cup of coffee. It is also the perfect place for family picnics and wildlife spotting!

Pull up in the ride-on

Just when you thought the farm couldn’t get more delightful, we add ride‑on toys — perfect for sparking imagination and outdoor adventures around the farmyard. Whether it’s a miniature tractor or pedal car, these pint‑sized chariots are a firm favourite with little explorers, offering hours of wholesome fun in the open air. Everything is inspected regularly to ensure a safe, carefree playtime for all our youngest guests.

EV Charging

With the ever increasing use of electric vehicles we understand the need for our guests to be able to charge their cars whilst they are on holiday. We are pleased to say that we have a Rolec dual 7.4Kw EV charger available exclusively for guest use. Payment for EV car charging is via the Monta App or by scanning the QR code on the charger. Your will require your own EV cable.
